Abstract:

The overall objective for application of the ECC is to conduct an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Northeast Hotspot Landscape of the HWC-WC Project, in order to identify potential environmental and social impacts of the project activities; and to identify feasible mitigation measures to be implemented along with the project activities. The ESIA is accompanied with the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) , which presents the potential mitigation measures for the environmental and social impacts of the project activities in the landscape.
