Abstract:

Harvesting of dead trees and bush control for Charcoal Production in three small Blocks. Block 1: Is 170ha, with many dead trees as a result of veldfires (my own observation). The Proponent intent to only harvest the dead trees. This area is a wildlife area. Block 2: Is 80ha. This 80ha is made out of a 4km road way, to be cleared 200m wide to improve the protection of wildlife and improve game viewing. Block 3: Is 160ha, affected by bush encroachment. Here normal bush control will take place.
