Abstract:

Erf 1354 is zoned for Public Open Space purposes in terms of the Okahao Town Planning Scheme, whereas Erf 1342 is zoned for Business purposes. Currently Erf 1342 accommodates a Small Medium Enterprise (SME) business which is already operational. The initial planning of the subject area resulted in a portion of Erf 1342 being included within Erf 1354, which belongs to the owner of Erf 1342. The intended change in land use is needed in order to rectify the existing situation on the ground as there are structures located on the subject erf which are currently being used for business purposes.
