For the upgrading of an earth track already proclaimed as DR3417, from Andara Village to Shamaturu Village's clinic, via Mangamba Village. This is a 15km long road with a 30 meters wide road reserve, therefore total project footprint will be less than 50 hectares.
Rehoboth Town Council wishes to formalize two extensions within Rehoboth Townlands. The proposed township development triggers listed activities as listed in the Environmental Management Act 7 (2007) and therefore requires an ECC before the process to the Urban and Regional Planning Board can get underway.

Winplan needs to obtain clearance on a 120Ha ground within Rehoboth in order to continue with the flexible land tenure project. GIZ is funding the project in order to formalize existing settlements in Rehoboth by following guidelines of the Flexible Land Tenure Act.
Berseba Village Council previously obtained ECC in order to conduct township establishment within Berseba. The ECC had lapsed and therefore Berseba needs to renew their ECC to continue with the township establishment.
To renew the current ECC for a sand and gravel mine within Oniipa which lapsed November 2021.

Gravel road construction of DR3682 from Onaanda to Otamanzi (Omusati Region). This road is already a proclaimed road, since the 1990s.
The proposed site is situated within Ondangwa Extension 5 on Erf 1713. The site is currently undeveloped. The proponent wishes to subdivide Erf 1713, Ondangwa Extension 5 into portion A and Remainder. Remainder Erf 1717 will continue to be used for industrial purposes. The subdivided Portion A will be used as part of the road in order for the trucks to have adequate manoeuvring space for a turning circle. The image below shows the scale of the portion that needs to be subdivided from Erf 1713 and the reason WINPLAN needs to conduct an EIA for this creation of street.
The owner of the respective two erven wishes to conduct township establishment on both erven (Tamariskia Erven 673 and RE 540, Extension 2, Swakopmund). the proposed township establishment triggers certain listed activities as per the Environmental Regulations.
To renew an ECC which was obtained the 30th November 2018 for an existing sand and gravel mine which is in operation and would like to continue in the future. The existing ECC Expires on the 30th November 2021.
Road upgrading from a gravel road to a tar road (bitumen standards) The proposed project is located in the Kavango East Region in Northern Namibia. It involves the upgrading to bitumen standard of the District Road 3403 stretching from Divundu via Bagani and ending at Mohembo Border Post in the Kavango East Region in Northern Namibia. The District Road 3403 starts at the junction with TR8/4 in Divundu and follows a south easterly direction for 8km to Bagani. From Bagani the road follows a southerly direction towards the Mohembo border post between Namibia and Botswana.
To allow Township Establishment on the Remainder Rehoboth Townlands No. 302. Certain listed activities per the Environmental Management Act (No 7 of 2007) were triggered: Activity 1(b), Activity 2.3, Activity 4, Activity 5.2, Activity 10.1(a,b) .
The proposed road construction is a continuation of the DR3427 that starts in Tondoro Village along the B10 highway near Nkurenkuru. The initiation first phase construction was completed in 2015 from Tondoro to Mburu-Uru. This proposed construction aimed at completing the DR3427 construction from where the first phase ended in 2015. Thus the second phase seeks to complete the DR3427 from Mburu-Uru to Calikawo/Charlie Cutline/DR3446.

Oniipa Town Council wishes to formalize the existing townships within the settlement by planning 18 new extensions within Oniipa. These site are already disturbed by the inhabitants, but the roads and erven are not formalized. The proposed township establishment triggers certain listed activities in terms of Act no. 7 of 2007 of the Environmental Management Plan.
Karas regional council wishes to establish townships within Aussenkehr, in order for the Planning Board to approve the Township Establishments, an clearance certificate is required.
In line with the environmental regulatory requirements and project registration, WINPLAN Town and Regional Planning Consultants was appointed by the Hardap Regional Council to carry out an environmental scoping assessment for the proposed establishment of the new extension and the subdivision of erven 677 and 678. The Townships includes certain activities that are listed as 'Listed Activities' according to Government Notice No. 29 of 6 February 2012, which requires that an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) be obtained from the office of the Environmental Commissioner.
In line with the environmental regulatory requirements and project registration, WINPLAN Town and Regional Planning Consultants was appointed by the Otjinene Village Council to carry out an environmental scoping assessment for the proposed establishment of the new township establishment on the subdivided portions. It is for a renewal of a lapsed certificate for the Township Establishment on Portion 11 of the Remainder of the Farm Okahao, Townlands No. 989 as well as on Portions 3 and 4 of the Remainder of the Farm Okahao Townlands Extension 1213, Okahao (Omusati Region). The EEC expired in December 2020.
