The proposed establishment of the 'Huab Under Canvas' Tented Camp for Ultimate Safaris in the Kunene Region. The Camp has been in operation since 2016 in the //Huab Conservancy, but due to mining activities in the area, the Camp needs to be relocated. The Proponent has an agreement for this project with the three conservancies which manage the Joint Management Area (JMA) between them, namely the Uibasen, Sorris Sorris and Doro !Nawas Conservancies.
Mr. Gerhard Boetie Ndala has successfully obtained Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL) 8520, located approximately 30 km south-east of Uis Settlement, within the Karibib, Omaruru Districts, Erongo Region. EPL 8520 is approximately 15297 Hectares (ha) in size. The land on which the EPL is falls part of the Tsiseb Conservancy, Erongo Region. Mr. Ndala proposes to undertake exploration activities on EPL 8520 for Dimension Stone, Base and Rare Metals, Industrial Minerals and Precious Metals.
The Ohangwena Regional Council intends on obtaining an Environmental Clearance Certificate for the Proposed Construction of a Waste Disposal Site. The project aims to find an alternative/solution to the current practice of unregulated and informal disposal of general waste in the settlement. The proposed project will therefore allow the Community to practice the recommended environmental practice of waste disposal and contributing and playing its role to environmental sustainability.

The exploration aims to focus on Crystalline white marbles of the Karibib Formation, which are dominantly occurring within EPL 7095 area. Other lithological units present are schists, ortho-amphibolite, quartzites, granite, ortho-gneiss and metasediments. All these lithological units are part of the Damara Sequence.

Galore Trading cc (Galore) has successfully obtained Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL) 8735, located ±20 km northheast of Arandis, in the Erongo Region. EPL 8735 is 9003 Hectares (ha) in size. The land on which the EPL is located, falls part of the Arandis Constituency. Galore is planning exploration activities on the EPL. Preliminary activities such as geophysics, mapping, scouting exercises, soil sampling, as well as future drilling activities are planned for the area.
Namibia Non-Ferrous East China Mineral Exploration and Development (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as Namibia Non-Ferrous) was successfully granted an Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL) 3365 in 2017, with a validity period until 2020, located near Rehoboth, in the Windhoek District, Hardap/Khomas Region. EPL 3365 is approximately 31,000 Hectares (ha) in size. Namibia Non-Ferrous previously conducted surface work and researches on potential areas in the field before drilling, such as geological survey (revision), geophysical survey and trenches n 2018/2019.

Zambezi Regional Council intends on obtaining an Environmental Clearance Certificate for their for upearthing the embankment of the Mpunkano Combined School Platform. The aim is to raise the platform of the school in order to increase the carrying capacity and prevent damage and disruptions of classrooms due to the flooding. Furthermore, the project is designed to up-earth the embankment of the school ground of Mpunkano Combined School to allow learners and their parents to relocate to such a higher ground during flood times as a permanent solution to the flooding problem.

Right-Path Investments (Pty) Ltd intends on obtaining an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for their proposed installation of an above-ground oil tank, on a currently disturbed piece of land measuring 150 square meters, located within their premises. Right-Path is currently dealing with a lot of delivery tasks for their brick-making operations. Their monthly consumption is high enough to consider having their own oil tank to save on the budget. However, in order for Right-Path to store oil on their premises, a permit is required from the Minister of Mines and Energy.
Roads Authority, intends on obtaining an extension to their Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the construction of DR3650: Epinga to Onakalunga and DR4113: Endola to Eembo, located in Ohangwena Region. As part of the requirements by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, RA is expected to submit an updated EMP to reflect the extension.
