Energy generation, transmission, and storage activities The construction of facilities for: (1a) The generation of electricity. (1b) The transmission and supply of electricity. External diesel generators are in use on site as emergency back-up power supply sources to skeleton operations in the event of a power failure. An existing 66 kilovolt powerline and associated infrastructure located within the Accessory Work Permit area of the ML will continue to be used. No upgrades are needed for the proposed Project.

The Omitiomire Copper Mining Project will need to generate and or transmit electricity for its operations. It is very likely that the proposed Project will connect to the national power grid supplied by NamPower. Alternatively, the Proponent may possibly consider developing a renewable energy plant (i.e. solar) for the generation of supplementary power.

The project involves the following activities: - Potential creation of access tracks, where existing tracks cannot be utilized. - Limited vegetation clearing the creation of tracks, and - Exploration methods may include drilling and trenching, geophysical and geochemical surveys.
