Massaus is in the process of obtaining a license / approval from the Electricity Control Board of Namibia, and collaborating with the Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb (DPMT) to develop a 20 MW Photovoltaic Solar generating plant that will l augment the DPMT's power needs and or feeding the surplus generated energy into the national grid.

DanRe Sun (Pty) Ltd aims to develop the solar energy project using PV technology to generate electricity in Namibia.

Their aim is to take advantage of the opportunity for self-employment and job creation that exist in the mining sector of Namibia. Mr. David Nekwaya seeks to operate their business activities within their proposed Mining Claim (MC No. 75298) at Karibib in the Erongo Region, in respect to Industrial Mineral (small-scale exploration and mining).

DanAon Energy (Pty) Ltd (herein referred to as the proponent), is a Namibian registered and owned solar energy company focused on green solutions for power generation. DanAon is in the process of obtaining a license / approval from the Electricity Control Board of Namibia, to develop a 40 MW grid connected Photovoltaic Solar generating plant at Maltahöhe in the Hardap Region. DanAon Energy (Pty) Ltd aims to develop the solar energy project using PV technology to generate electricity in Namibia.

In particular to this Scoping Assessment, Beauna Mining (Pty) Ltd envisages to build and operate a Hydrometallurgy Copper Plant near Sesfontein Settlement (about 6km to the east, Figure 1) to aid the process and advance to a point they are able to smelt their own products locally. The Renewal of Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the Commencement of Proposed Small to Medium-Scale Surface Mining for Dimension Stone on Mining License (ML) 194 near Okombahe Settlement in the Erongo Region No mining has taken place on the license since the issuance of the Mining License and issuance of the previous Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) about 3 years ago.

New application for the Prospecting of Nuclear Fuel Minerals, Base and Rare Metals, Dimension Stones, Industrial Minerals and Non-Nuclear Fuel Minerals on EPLs 8208 and 8946 in the Arandis and Karibib Constituencies, Erongo Region – Namibia The EPLs 8208 and 8946 are located in the Namib Naukluft National Park, about 55km southeast of Arandis, and 100km east of Swakopmund. There are existing mining activities in the area, including the Langer Heinrich Mine just south of the two EPLs, Husab Mine located about 25km to the northwest and Rossing about 40km in the same direction.

Hence, Mr. Erich Dennis Petrus has thus applied to obtain a Mining Claims (MCs) license with a particular focus on key portions of the proposed Mining Claims. To enhance potential impact mitigation, the proponent has demarcated and marked a section of the Otjimbingwe Communal Reserve. The MC 73894 is situated in Western Namibia, within the Otjimbingwe Reserve and approximately 10 km North-west of the Otjimbingwe Settlement in the Erongo.
