Their aim is to take advantage of the opportunity for self-employment and job creation that exist in the small-scale mining sector of Namibia.

ML Trading Enterprise T/A DanRe Sun (Pty) Ltd (herein referred to as the proponent), is a Namibian registered and owned solar energy company focused on green solutions for power generation. In particular to this Scoping Assessment, Beauna Mining (Pty) Ltd envisages to build and operate a Hydrometallurgy Copper Plant near Sesfontein Settlement (about 6km to the east, Figure 1) to aid the process and advance to a point they are able to smelt their own products locally. Hence, the company has identified a land area of ~ 100 (Ha) hectares for which it wishes to obtain a leasehold and therefore the need for, in addition to other legislative requirements they seek to obtain an environmental clearance certificate for the proposed processing plant.
The Kaoko Fria Investment and Partners proposed the development of an Ultra-Modern Cape Fria Port and Atlantic City in different phases starting with Phase 1 which consist of the Township Planning, Sub-Division, Land Servicing and Creation of Streets.
HyIron intends to develop the Oshivela Green Iron Pilot Project, on Section 4 of Farm Bloemenhof 109 . The proposed project entails the production of “green” iron, i.e. without any CO2 emissions, by using renewable energy only and applying HyIron’s proprietary technology. The proposed pilot production phase is planned in the north-western section of Section 4 of Farm Bloemenhof 109 and includes the following: Production of 5 tons raw iron per hour (~ 3 000 hours per year), using hydrogen as a reduction agent during the product beneficiation, in a specialised industrial (airtight) furnace.
Bohale Investment cc (herein referred to as the Proponent, ), a sister company of BC Stone Products (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd and Best Cheer Investments Namibia) intends to apply to renew its Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC obtained on 19 October 2020) for its proposed Dimension Stone mineral right on ML No. 190 totaling an area of 3986 Ha. While the operation continues, the ECC has expired and thus the proponent wishes to ensure that development activities is still undertaken in an economic, social and environmental sound / sustainable manner.
SLB proposes to establish and operate a Liquid Mud Plant (LMP) in the Port of Walvis Bay. The proposed LMP will be used to receive, handle, manufacture, mix, store and transfer a liquid drilling compound which is used by offshore oil riggs.

(An Application was submitted to MEFT: DEA and registered on the MEFT portal in July 2020. The MEFT Portal however experienced difficulties and this Application was lost. The EIA process has been completed and therefore a new Application is herewith lodged. The previous Application number was: APP-01678). Lodestone is proposing the construction of a proposed new bulk water supply pipeline from the Oanob dam to the mine. A pipeline route has been decided following gravel roads, which is the shortest route that follows close to existing roads.
Mrs. Madelize van Zyl (herein referred to as the proponent), is an entrepreneur who ventures in the beef value chain in Southern Africa, and who wishes to acquire, restore the livestock viability of a degraded (bush encroached) Farm Eindpaal No. 164 to enhance its potential (carrying capacity) for the sustainable livestock production. Their primary objective, is to adopt best-practice and sustainable bush-thinning approaches that combines both mechanical and application of granular tree and shrubs herbicides i.e. Limpopo 200 GG Herbicide.

AMENDMENT APPLICATION: Kelp Blue, intends to cultivate Giant Kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera) at a commercial scale, off the coast of southern Namibia, near Lüderitz. Prior to them implementing the "commercial scale" cultivation project, Kelp Blue first develop a Pilot Project to provide important information and proof of their concept as well as monitoring of marine ecological aspects associated with the Pilot Project activities.

Hence, Mr. Erich Dennis Petrus has thus applied to obtain a Mining Claims (MCs) license with a particular focus on key portions of the proposed Mining Claims. To enhance potential impact mitigation, the proponent has demarcated and marked a section of the Otjimbingwe Communal Reserve. The MC 73894 is situated in Western Namibia, within the Otjimbingwe Reserve and approximately 10 km North-west of the Otjimbingwe Settlement in the Erongo.
