Ruungandu Mining cc seeks to operate their business activities within their proposed Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL 8587) in the Erongo Region, in respect to Dimension Stone (Marble exploration). Principally, Ruungandu Mining proposes to explore (desktop geological study, collection of bulk and or geological samples and identification of previous activity in the area where similar mineral mining were conducted) and to obtain bulk-samples for further laboratory analysis by use of hand-held equipment and to small degree drilling.

In particular to this Scoping Assessment, Beauna Mining (Pty) Ltd envisages to build and operate a Hydrometallurgy Copper Plant near Sesfontein Settlement (about 6km to the east, Figure 1) to aid the process and advance to a point they are able to smelt their own products locally. Hence, the company has identified a land area of ~ 100 (Ha) hectares for which it wishes to obtain a leasehold and therefore the need for, in addition to other legislative requirements they seek to obtain an environmental clearance certificate for the proposed processing plant.
The Kaoko Fria Investment and Partners proposed the development of an Ultra-Modern Cape Fria Port and Atlantic City in different phases starting with Phase 1 which consist of the Township Planning, Sub-Division, Land Servicing and Creation of Streets.
Bohale Investment cc (herein referred to as the Proponent, ), a sister company of BC Stone Products (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd and Best Cheer Investments Namibia) intends to apply to renew its Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC obtained on 19 October 2020) for its proposed Dimension Stone mineral right on ML No. 190 totaling an area of 3986 Ha. While the operation continues, the ECC has expired and thus the proponent wishes to ensure that development activities is still undertaken in an economic, social and environmental sound / sustainable manner.
