Abstract:

Due to expected growth in electricity demand in Luderitz and Elizabeth Bay and the power failures and outages along the existing 132 kV line, NamPower has to add an additional 132 kV line between Luderitz and Keetmanshoop. The proposed powerline will increase supply capacity and enhance reliability of supply to the coastal area.
