Cattle play an important socio-economic role in the livelihood of communal livestock farmers in Namibia. Data for the study were obtained through an extension questionnaire survey of farmers in northern Namibia, out of which a sample of 468 communal livestock farmers were used in this study. Descriptive statistics and a linear regression model were employed to analyze the data.
