Abstract:

Openbill, Glossy Ibis, Grey Heron, Great White Egret, Night Heron, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, Reed Cormorant, nesting in March 1974, near Tsinsabis. Goliath Heron, Purple Heron and Woollynecked Stork also present but nests not found. Description of the vlei, the nests and the eggs and data on food of the birds. Tawny Eagle. Current name of Openbilled Stork: African Openbill.
