Abstract:

The application for the renewal of the environmental clearance certificate for the management of vegetation regrowth by chemical/manual means for NamPower substations in central regions. In 2013 NamPower received Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for the proposed vegetation management at NamPower various sites. The ECC is was renewed and a new ECC for the management of regrowth by chemical/manual means, Central district, Khomas Region was issued on the 29 April 2016. NamPower would therefore like to renew the ECC and inlcude the rest of the substations which were not included in the previous ECC.
