Namibia: Land use planning and environmental sustainability. Contributions to an analytical framework for sustainable land management
It is understood that sound land use planning processes are one key element to attaining sustainable land management. Empowering local natural resource users to take informed land and resource management decisions, track and monitor their resources and lay the foundation for adaptive management is understood to be key to livelihood security and development in Namibia's rural areas.
