Ecological niche partitioning, homerange and resource utilisation in desert lizard (Meroles anchietae and M. cuneirostris) from the Namib Desert, Namibia
In this study we compare the morphology, activity patterns, microhabitat characteristics, thermal biology, water expenditure and feeding ecology of two diurnal sympatric lacertid lizard species of the Namib Desert, Namibia: the Shovelsnouted lizard, Meroles anchietae, and Wedge-snouted lizard, Meroles cuneirostris.
