Economic findings and results: Dryland and molapo farming systems of western Ngamiland
The work program has to a large extent been based on the assumption that dry land farmers have a close relationship between plant population and yield. Molapo farmers do not have such a strong relationship due to the high risk factors facing this type of farming. Pests, for example, cause severe problems in the molapo and together with livestock, these cause half of the recorded crop failures.
