Abstract:

In preparing this paper, the authors felt that this evolution of development proposals is a noteworthy aspect of Okavango research in that each generation of reappraised proposals have resulted in a fuller understanding in the value of the Okavango resource and in a greater awareness of the ecological complexity which development proposals must face.
