Alien invasive plant species in Namibia: these species should be aggresively eradicated
Although the most common invasive and potential invasive alien species in Namibia have been listed in this booklet, they are not necessarily limited to the abovementioned. Other non-native species that could potentially pose a threat include: Eucalyptus spp. (australian wattle/bloekom); Euphorbia tirucalli (rubber euphorbia); Jatropha curcas (physic nut); Moringa oleifera (Moringa); Parkensonia aculeata (Jerusalem thorn/kraal naboom); Psidium guajava (guava); Alternanthera pungens (khaki weed).
