The overall objective of the CuveWaters project is the conceptual progression and practical implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) for the Cuvelai catchment area, with a focus on the Cuvelai-Etosha Basin in central northern Namibia. A regionally specific IWRM is intended to secure the livelihood of the resident population in the long term and thus make a substantial contribution toward poverty reduction and crisis prevention in the region.
