This Final Scoping Report (FSR) is a part of the process of planning and decision making for the proposed strategic expansion of the container terminal at the Port of Walvis Bay. Its purpose is to:
Give an overview of the proposed project and its alternatives; Present the issues raised during Scoping, and identify those that need further investigation by specialists; Describe the Terms of Reference for such specialist studies. The FSR is the second in a series of reports and information documents issued during the environmental impact assessment process.
