Title:
Wildlife protection and law enforcement in Namibia for the year 2025: This report covers the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Publication Year:
2026
Abstract:

The year 2025 saw the lowest number of thinos poached in Namibia for more than a decade. Registered cases and arrests have been declining over the past five years in most wildlife crime categories. Namibia appears to be ‘winning the war’ against wildlife crime - yet it would be unsound to declare 'victory'.
