The year 2025 saw the lowest number of thinos poached in Namibia for more than a decade. Registered cases and arrests have been declining over the past five years in most wildlife crime categories. Namibia appears to be ‘winning the war’ against wildlife crime - yet it would be unsound to declare 'victory'.
