Abstract:

As above-ground pipe-lines stretch for many kilometres theses may cause an effective barrier for wildlife. In this article the authors report on recommendations on the construction, lat-out and position and height above ground in relation to animal movement and crossing behavior. Various existing crossing points were also located for wildlife activity to determine how or if wildlife utilise these areas.
