A treatment is given of the taxonomy and distribution of bufonids occurring in Botswana, Caprivi, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Genera included are Bufo, Stephopaedes and Schismaderma. Keywords: Amphibia, Amphibia Zambesiaca, Bufonidae and Southern African bufonids.
