During the seismic survey, the generated seismic wave travels into the earth and get reflected by various rock layers of the subsurface formations and returns to the surface where it is recorded by receivers called geophones which are like microphones.

Bohale Investment cc (herein referred to as the Proponent, ), a sister company of BC Stone Products (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd and Best Cheer Investments Namibia) intends to apply to obtain an Environmental Clearance Certificate for the establishment of a second marble quarry within its Dimension Stone mineral right on ML No. 190 totaling an area of 3986 Ha. While the other quarry’s (on Farm Okatjimukuju No. 55) operation continues, the proponent wishes to also expand and establish a second quarry on the Farm Okongava No.
The Environmental Clerance certificate is for a solar PV plant that will generate 1000 MW of electricity using solar polycrystalline crystals. The projects starts with a 100MW phase one.

The proponent intends to establish a pit quarrying operations for purposes of producing both marble and granitoid / gneissic dimension stone blocks for both the local and international markets.

Triple J Energies has an existing ECC for the operations of their bulk storage facility and filling operations for liquefied petroleum gas in Windhoek. Amendment of the ECC is required to include planned refurbishments at the facility. For purposes of the amendment application, an updated EMP was prepared for submission.

Environmnetal Impact Assessment for the proposedd Opuwo Flexible Land Tenure Scheme (FLTS) - proposed informal settlements upgrading under the flexible land tenure system in Opuwo, Kunene Region, Namibia.
The project proposes the development of a photovoltaic solar installation with a cumulative capacity of 35.10 MWp to supply electricity to the proposed desalination plant near Wlotzkasbaken for the production of desalinated water (through reverse osmosis). The two demand centres (desalination plant and Pump Station 1 (PSS-1)) will be supplied by a combination of solar Photovoltaic (PV), Li-Ion Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and utility supplied power.
