The promoter, who is a small scale miner with a long history of mining semi-precious stones (tourmaline) in the Karibib Districts had pegged and registered three mining claims with MME. The Mining Claims were registered for semi-precious stones and an ECC has been granted (attached to the bid for easy reference). Given high demand for industrial minerals (lithium, tin and tantalite) and a toll-free processing plant planned to be constructed in the Karibib District, the promoter would like the Mining Commissioner to include industrial minerals included on the mining claim certificate.

Urbanization and its impact on quality of life (or lack thereof) are two of the biggest challenges we face globally. Increasing urbanization has severe economic and social consequences for our society. Among them are overpopulation, pollution, inadequate infrastructure and overuse of natural resources, as well as rising property values and living costs. Urban planning has failed to accommodate a large influx of people, resulting in sprawling communities within the urban edge. In the end, large residential neighbourhoods with no sense of place and a low quality of life are the result.
