The ECC is for the operation of 66kV Omburu - Uis transmission line. The 66kV Omburu - Uis line was constructed was constructed in 1974 prior to the commencement of the Environmental Management Act and its regulation, as a result there was no environmental impact assessment study conducted for the project prior to its development. It is therefore against this background that NamPower intends to apply for the operational Environmental Clearance Certificate in order to comply to the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations.

The 66kV Gobabis-Omaere line was constructed from 1992 and was commissioned in 1995 prior to the commencement of the Environmental Management Act and its regulation, as a result there was no environmental impact assessment study conducted for the project prior to its development. It is therefore against this background that NamPower intends to apply for the operational Environmental Clearance Certificate in order to comply to the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations.

Activity 10.2 (a) (Infrastructure) The route determination of roads and design of associated physical infrastructure where - it is a public road. The Proponent intends to subdivide Erf 502, Nkurenkuru Extension 1 into Erf A and the Remainder.
The ECC application is for the construction of the proposed Swakopmund Smallholding Potable Water Reservoir, and it will consist of the following main elements: • Supply and installation of a prefabricated water treatment plant including all fittings and accessories: • Construction of a concrete storage tank The reservoir will be a reinforced concrete structure, and will have a round shape with a smooth surface. The round shape of the reservoir will result in the strongest and most cost effective solution.

The integrated farming system is a commonly used term to explain a more integrated approach to farming compared to monoculture approaches.
