TOV Multipurpose center proposes to establish a poultry farming venture on its Plot 18 of Farm Oerwoud. Although poultry farming is not specified in the Listed Act, the proponent has been request to obtain an Environmental Clearance Certificate by the project funders. The environmental clearance certificate is for the proposed agriculture project for farm Erhardshof 575, Otjozondjupa region, Namibia The proposed project will be located on Farm Erhardshof 575, which is approximately 3 522 hectares in size, of which the total irrigated project size at the final phase will be 135 hectares. The intention is to initially plant fodder for cattle such as Katambora Rhodes grass as well as rotational grain crops such as maize and wheat.

The ECC application is for the construction of the proposed Swakopmund Smallholding Potable Water Reservoir, and it will consist of the following main elements: • Supply and installation of a prefabricated water treatment plant including all fittings and accessories: • Construction of a concrete storage tank The reservoir will be a reinforced concrete structure, and will have a round shape with a smooth surface. The round shape of the reservoir will result in the strongest and most cost effective solution.
