The ECC is required for the proposed minerals exploration activities in the EPL 3963 covering the following activities: (i) Initial desktop exploration activities (review of existing information and all previous activities in order identify any potential target/s in the EPL Area). (ii) Regional reconnaissance field-based activities such as reginal mapping, aerial survey and existing data analysis and sampling to identify and verify potential targeted areas based on the recommendations of the desktop work undertaken under (i) above.
Kambwa Mining CC (The Proponent) has been granted with an exclusive prospecting license (EPL) No. 7285 by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). The tenure of this licence is from 20 May 2019. The covered area is prospective for five (5) groups of commodities, upon which detailed prospecting and exploration activities will be conducted. The Proponent plans to conduct prospecting and exploration activities on amended EPL leading to the estimation and delineation of the target resource for mining.
The application aims at obtaining an ECC for an upgrade to temporary conservancy tanks for sewage waste disposal for Omakange Combined School, to address the hygienic conditions at the school in the interim. The application is made to comply to the EMA act no7 of 2007 and its regulations.

Renewal of ECC: Continuation of exploration and associated activities on MLs 73b, 73c, 16, 9 and 21. Trigon plans to carry on with similar exploration and associated activities, as described in the approved EIA Report for the foreseeable future on MLs 73B, 73C, 16, 9 and 21.
