The Application is the renewal and amendment of the ECC for Proposed Ongos Portion 8 & 9 Township and its associated waste water treatment plant. The waste water treatment plant specifications were not specified in the approved report, as the initial assessment addressed the generic waste water treatment plant that was planned for by the City of Windhoek. This application serves as an update of ECC to specifically address the trickling filter plant to be installed. The Proponent plans to conduct prospecting and exploration activities leading to the estimation and delineation of the target resource. The Proposed Exploration Activities of Dimension Stone on Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL) 7008 in the Erongo Region, Namibia.
Geologists will be doing work to determine if the mineralization is truly there, and this is called grassroots (non-invasive or surface ) exploration. Common non-invasive activities include: airborne satellite surveys, Ground based geological and geophysical prospecting and surveying; and Determining drill target areas. No invasive work, i.e. drilling or trenching will be done at this stage, and will require a follow up application.

This amendment is required for the development of the proposed Eldorado substation which will be located on a portion of Farm Maxwell No.82 northeast of the Otjikoto Gold Mine.
