The Commercialisation of Mahangu
In considering the commercialisation of Mahangu, this study concludes that unless yields can be improved, economically viable Mahangu production that is sustainable will be a non-starter. The current trends of declining soil fertility and deteriorating soil structures, and hence decreasing crop yields therefore have to be reversed.
