The ECC is for the Exploration activities on Exclusive Prospecting Licenses 7405, 7406 and 7407 at Otjozondu village, Otjozondjupa region. The Prospecting programme will consist of both non-invasive and invasive methods. The non- invasive method consist topographical and geophysical survey followed by a mapping and rock chip phase. The invasive method consist of both reverse circulation and Diamond Core Drilling.

The clients entered into a PPP agreement with the Gobabis Municipality to address the housing backlog by establishing two township respectively on the Townlands of Gobabis. As per the Environmental Management Act, this activity is subjected to an Environmental Impact Assessment. In order to finalise the township establishment process, the application need to be submitted to the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development and the Environmental Clearance Certificate is therefore needed for this process.

Energy generation, transmission and storage activities - The construction of facilities for the refining of gas, oil and petroleum products. Hazardous substance treatment, handling and storage - The storage and handling of dangerous goods, including petrol, diesel, liquid petroleum gas or paraffin, in containers with a combined capacity of more than 30 cubic meters at any one location. - Construction of filling stations or any other facility for the underground and aboveground storage of dangerous goods, including petrol, diesel, liquid, petroleum, gas or paraffin.

ECC is for the Construction and Operations of a Fuel Retail Facility in Rocky Crest, Windhoek.

It is the intention of the proponent to construct about 330 affordable housing units and related infrastructure on a 5- hectare portion of Erf 5757 Kuisebmond for the affordable housing project in Walvis Bay. The Municipality of Swakopmund is in the process of redesigning the remainder of Erf 5360, Swakopmund Extension 15 by sub-dividing it into seven portions and remainder. As a result of this redesigning, a public road (street) will be created to provide access to the created erven. In terms of the Environmental Management Act (act No. 07 of 2007), "the creation a public road" cannot be done without an Environmental Clearance Certificate being obtained.

An Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is required in order for the mining activity to occur on MCs 72037, 72038, 72039, 72040, 72041 and 72042. Prospecting and mining form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an ECC.being issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) upon submission of an Environmental Assessment Report (EAR) and draft Environmental Management Plan (EMP).

Proposed construction and operation of a Wastewater Managment Facility (Four New Oxidation Ponds) in Tses Village, //Karas Region.

The proponent is planning to embark on an Integrated Animal and Crop Farming initiative at Mubiza Village, which is some 30 km east of Katima Mlilo town, and is quite remote in the Zambezi Region of Namibia. Mwaka Integrated Farming CC has secured a 100-hectare piece of communal land to use for production of crop farming (agronomic) and crocodile rearing. The land of which is administered particularly by the local chiefs whose authority is governed by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development of Namibia. The proposed area is communal and quite remote in the Zambezi Region of Namibia.

The property owner, Mr. Sevelinus Nakale has appointed TOYA Urban Planning Consultants cc to apply for the subdivision of Erf 542 located in Extension 1, Oshikuku., into seven portions and a remainder. As a result of this subdivision, a street network (crescent) with a width of approximately 10m, will be created to provide access to the newly created erven.

The Vamumwa Rest Camp and Recreational Park (hereinafter referred to as Vamumwa), intends on obtaining an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for their current and operational recreational park and associated activities. The park is located 2 km out of Outapi Town, along the Outapi-Ruacana main road. The park provides a wide range of recreational activities for the local, regional and national community.

Ketu Bricks project has been in existence for more than 20 years. The main principle of business is to manufacture block bricks from sand and cement mixture. Bricks are made by means of a semi-mechanize method which include mixing sand and cement with a concrete mixture and molding bricks by means of hand operated molders. Sand is sourced from local dealers with approved sand permits or occasionally obtained from the approved the nearest sand burrow pits belonging to the Uukwambi Traditional Authority.

The renewal and transferred Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is required by Mitten Minerals Exploration (Pty) Ltd (current Proponent) for the EPL No. 5282 with respect to the ongoing minerals exploration / prospecting activities. The EPL holder intends to implement an exploration programme aimed at searching or prospecting for possible economic base and rare metals, dimension stone, industrial minerals, and precious metals groups of minerals within the EPL 5282 area.

The renewed and transferred Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is required by Toroa Minerals Exploration (Pty) Ltd for the EPL No. 5271 with respect to the ongoing minerals exploration / prospecting activities for base and rare metals and precious metals. Minerals exploration / prospecting activities covering include the following: 1. Initial desktop exploration activities (review of existing information and all previous activities in order identify any potential target/s); 2.

For the construction of a public road, construction, and other activities within a watercourse flood line and the closure of a public open space.

The proponent, GFG Slasto Supplies CC intends to continue mining dimension stone targeting slate from the mining claims; 70322, 70323 and 70324, situated at Farm Berghoek 506, Rehoboth district, Hardap Region, Namibia and therefore an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) is needed to continue undertaking this listed activity in a sustainable manner.

Application for the Renewal of Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) for EPL 5046.

The Proponent, Mr. Nicolaas Carolus Januarie holds mineral rights under Mining Claims (MCs) No. 65989, 65990, 65991, 65992, 66681 and 66682 by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). The areas are prospective to Dimension stones and Industrial Minerals. The tenure of the licence is from 25 February 2014 and expired on 24 February 2016, as per the information available on the Namibia Mining Cadastre Portal. Therefore, a renewal application is required for submission to MME. The Proponent plans to conduct small scale mining for economical minerals on the MCs.

The Environmental Clearance Certificate is for the construction and operation of the Khomas Substation in the Khomas Region.

The ECC is for the operation and management of Van Eck Power Station. The Van Eck Power Station is located at the corner of Allen Street and Hosea Kutako Drive in the Northern Industrial Area, within the institutional boundaries of City of Windhoek Municipality. It is a Coal-Fired Power Station with a total of 4 generating units, each rated at 30 MW. The first two units (Unit 1 and Unit 2) were commissioned in 1972, while Unit 3 was commissioned in 1973 and Unit 4 in 1979. The station is recognizable by its two 103 meters high smokestacks or chimneys.

ECC is for the installation of a new submarine fibre optic cable system that will be landed at Swakopmund. The Equiano Cable System, which will connect Africa with Europe. It will be located along the West Coast of Africa, between Portugal and South Africa. Branching units along the cable will in turn connect it to African countries, including Namibia, to increase and improve connectivity in Africa. There will be one Namibian landing at Swakopmund, where it will be operated by the Namibian landing partner Paratus Telecommunications (Pty) Ltd.

ECC is for Environmental Scoping Assessment and Environmental Management Plan for Irrigation Activities on the Farms Okasondana No. 264, Evare No. 265 and Okatjukuri No. 263, Omaheke Region.
