In line with the environmental regulatory requirements and project registration, WINPLAN Town and Regional Planning Consultants was appointed by the Otjinene Village Council to carry out an environmental scoping assessment for the proposed establishment of the new township establishment on the subdivided portions. The proposed project is a small-scale (<1 ha) vegetable garden to be located in Mafuta village, Katiima Mulilo Rural Constituency.
