Pronego Properties cc is granted authority by the Oniipa Town Council to subdivide Erf 253, Onethindi Extension 1 and establish a new township of ± 120 erven on Portion A/253. Erf 253 is located eastern side along the Ondangwa-Omuthiya Main road. The site is already occupied by existing development consisting of residential and business properties. The intention is to establish a mixed used township development by formalizing the existing land uses and incorporating compatible new land uses. Approval has been granted by the Oniipa Town Council for the intended development.

The proponent intends to mine dimension stones for commercial purposes on the allocated mining claim sites.
The ECC is required in order for the Proponent to conduct Marine Controlled Source Electromagnetic (CSEM) in Walvis Basin, offshore Namibia. CSEM survey is a geophysical technique that is globally used in the offshore environment for detecting the presence of oil and gas and thus reduces the risk of drilling a dry exploration well and improves the chances for a commercial discovery especially in a frontier (high-risk area without known commercial hydrocarbon discovery) region such as offshore Namibia.

Uno Investment cc, a Namibian company, intents to establish a charcoal processing plant in Arandis Town. Charcoal being a product that is demanded by the international market, Arandis town is identified to be strategically situated as it is close to Walvis Bay Harbour which the exit to such markets. Environmental Compliance Consultancy (ECC) has been engaged by Jumbo Charcoal (Pty) Ltd to act on their behalf for the environmental clearance certificate application for the operations of the Jumbo charcoal factory and briquette plant in the Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia. Jumbo Charcoal (Pty) Ltd was established in Okahandja in 1989 and has been operating for over 30 years. As such, the facility predates the promulgation of the Environmental Management Act (EMA), No.7 of 2007.

The proponent intends to establish the proposed Katima Mulilo Extensions 55 and 56 on Erf 2818 Katima Mulilo Extension 10. The townships combined will create 542 erven of which 521 will be Residential erven. The proposed layouts comprise mostly of Residential zoned erven with some General Residential, Institutional, Business, Local Authority, Government, Agriculture and Public Open Space zoned erven additionally provided for.
