Tsandi Village Council has been issued with an ECC for the establishment and operation of the Landfill site. The ECC was issued on 30 July 2017 and expired on 30 July 2020. In order to ensure due diligence and compliance with the Environmental Management Act 07 of 2007 and its Regulations of February 2012, Tsandi Village Council wishes to renew the ECC for the ongoing operations of the Landfill site.

The site area is located on the premises of Roads Contractor Company (RCC) in Katima Mulilo.
