The renewal of the environmental clearance certificate for the second (60 m) telecommunication tower on the Husab Mine. The Husab Mine required a second radio and cell-phone tower in order to meet communication requirements for the mining department and therefore constructed a 60 m lattice tower near the mining activities. The second telecommunication tower was erected in June 2017, upon acquiring approval in February 2017. Swakop Uranium continues to use the tower for communication. No further activities associated with the tower are planned.
