The construction phase of the plant is near complete, and the plant is envisaged to be operational in 2025. This application aims to secure a renewal for this ECC with the intention to satisfy the requirements under listed activities: Energy generation, transmission and storage activities 1.a) the generation of electricity and 1.b) the transmission and supply (for own use) of electricity to Rössing substation.
