NamPower would like to inquire whether the proposed project will require a full EIA or an amendment to the existing Anixas Power Station Environmental Clearance Certificate will be sufficient. The Firm Power project is proposed to be located next to Anixas Power Station in Walvis bay . The proposed generation capacity will be 50 MW. It is envisioned that the Firm Power Station and Anixas Power Station, each will be operated independently. Anixas Power Station has an existing Environmental Clearance Certificate.
