Mandy Investments Two Hundred and Ninety-Four (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as The Proponent) intends to carry out irrigation activities on the privately owned Farm Skaapplaas No. 414 North of the Naute Dam in the //Karas Region. The proposed project will entail the clearing and preparation of land, approximately 1300 ha in total, for lucerne (animal fodder) cultivation for commercial purposes. The project land will be worked on and implemented in three phases, and these are as follows: Phase 1: 300 ha; Phase 2: a further 700 ha, and Phase 3: a further 300 ha (totaling 1300 ha).

The Proponent has been granted exploration tenure on the EPLs 4265 and 7847 from 04 February 2010 (both) to 15 January, 2022 and 27 July, 2023, respectively. The EPLs 4265, 7847 and 8440 are located about 4.84 km northwest of Dordabis and cover a combined surface area of 15 712.2184 ha.

Liina Iikwambi (The Proponent) intends to conduct mining activities on the Mining Claims (MCs) No. 71309 - 71312. The tenure for these mining claims is 24 February 2020 to 23 February 2023. The MCs are located about 5 km northwest of Usakos and about 140 km northeast of Swakopmund in the Erongo Region. The MCs covers a combined surface area of 13 246.14 ha. The target commodity on the MCs is semi-precious stones (Garnet).

However, prospecting and exploration form part of the listed activities that may not be undertaken without an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC), under the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) (EMA).

As a request for approval for mineral exploration activity on EPL 6526, The Proponent is required to submit an Environmental Assessment Report (EAR) and draft Environmental Management Plan (EMP) to the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) and MME. On approval, The Proponent would be issued with an Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) from the MEFT.

The Proponent, PowerCom (Pty) Ltd proposes to erect and operate a 20 m tall, 3-legged free standing lattice telecommunication (network) tower in the area of Goreangab, Windhoek, Khomas Region and an area of 8m x 8m will be used for the tower and customer equipment.
