Exploration, sampling and mining of diamonds, including the associated services on ML42.
ML44 contains diamond deflation deposits as well as pocket beach marine deposits. Although not high priority targets at this stage the long term strategy is to develop these diamond deposits further. Exploration on the pocket beaches will be conducted using drilling and sampling as well as probe drilling. The large diameter drilling operation will consist of a drill, a drilling additive mixing plant, a front end loader, a dump truck and a crane truck. Activities will also include marine based exploration and mining.

Namdeb holds four mining licenses, of which ML128C is the only totally sea-based license. Exploration in the marine license areas previously involved the collection of large-scale multibeam bathymetry and seismic data, followed by a regional geological drilling and sampling campaign, which opened up several new areas in the mid-water region. This was followed by sampling and test mining, the latter which will continue for the ensuing period:2022-2025.
Road upgrading from a gravel road to a tar road (bitumen standards) The proposed project is located in the Kavango East Region in Northern Namibia. It involves the upgrading to bitumen standard of the District Road 3403 stretching from Divundu via Bagani and ending at Mohembo Border Post in the Kavango East Region in Northern Namibia. The District Road 3403 starts at the junction with TR8/4 in Divundu and follows a south easterly direction for 8km to Bagani. From Bagani the road follows a southerly direction towards the Mohembo border post between Namibia and Botswana.
The proposed road construction is a continuation of the DR3427 that starts in Tondoro Village along the B10 highway near Nkurenkuru. The initiation first phase construction was completed in 2015 from Tondoro to Mburu-Uru. This proposed construction aimed at completing the DR3427 construction from where the first phase ended in 2015. Thus the second phase seeks to complete the DR3427 from Mburu-Uru to Calikawo/Charlie Cutline/DR3446.
