Rezoning of consolidated Erf 'X' from pos to hospitality with a bulk of 1 for the development and operation of a guesthouse and related activities 4. Rezoning of Erf 2868 from pos to single residential with a density of 1:300.

Ekwao Consulting 2024. 241004004779: Construction and operation of new fuel service station, Omuthiya.
Degrande Investments was granted an ECC for the development and operation of its proposed new fuel service station and related activities on Erf 1532, Extension 6 in the local authority of Omuthiya in Oshikoto Region. The construction of the facility is about 80% complete. The ECC has expired on 9 September 2024 and this application is the renewal of the said ECC.

Ekwao Consulting 2024. 240412003202: Renewal of an ECC for the rezoning and installation of infrastructure on portion Remainder 137 of Farm Brakwater No. 48, Windhoek.
The proprietor plans to develop Portion RE/137 of Farm Brakwater No. 48 into an industrial park consisting of between 16 to 20 individual erven. The industrial activities that will be conducted on each Erf or Plot has not been defined yet. The development has triggered activities for which an ECC is mandatory - rezoning, installation of bulk services, etc. The project was not implemented during the validity of the ECC, however, the proprietor would like to keep the ECC valid and active with a view to proceed with implementation as and when the conditions in the market improves.

Ekwao Consulting 2024. 231017002320: Amendment of an ECC and updating of the EMP so as to allow MME to include prospecting and mining of industrial minerals on three mining claims pegged and registered by the promoter with MME.

The promoter, who is a small scale miner with a long history of mining semi-precious stones (tourmaline) in the Karibib Districts had pegged and registered three mining claims with MME. The Mining Claims were registered for semi-precious stones and an ECC has been granted (attached to the bid for easy reference). Given high demand for industrial minerals (lithium, tin and tantalite) and a toll-free processing plant planned to be constructed in the Karibib District, the promoter would like the Mining Commissioner to include industrial minerals included on the mining claim certificate.

The proponent, Mr Jeano Foelscher has a valid ECC which allows him to mine for semi precious stones from his Mining Claim (MC-70725). The small scale miner has made a discovery of industrial minerals on his mining claims and would his mining claim amended to include exploration and mining of such discovered industrial minerals. the ecc has also to be amended and the EMP updated to allow for the expanded activities.
