Abstract:

The parallel processes of Land Use Planning and SEA, led by the Ministry of Lands and Resettlement, and being piloted in Karas Region as a model for improved planning, can be seen as an assessment and identification of opportunities. In this light, this SEA concludes with some ideas that will help to achieve sustainable development in the region and contribute to achieving Namibia's Vision 2030 goals.
