This Scoping Report comprises the following: A contextualisation of the policy, legislative and methodological frameworks within which the SEIA needs to be undertaken; A description of the proposed activities that form the subject of the SEIA process; A detailed description of the affected environment; A description of the possible social and environmental impacts that have been identified to date; A detailed description of the public participation process that underpins the current SEIA; An identification of alternatives, a description of aspects recommended for further study during the subsequent SEIA Report stage, and a recommended way forward to the next stage of the process.
