Chapter 8: The African Penguin Spheniscus demersus: population estimates, trends, adult survival and age structure from molt and nest counts
We used serial counts of molting adult individual African Penguins Spheniscus demersus and counts of active nests at peak breeding at the four main breeding localities in Namibia to assess population estimates and trends of this discrete, regional population of African Penguins.
