The completion of the Ecology and hydrology component, as identified in the Inception Report, was effective through six main groups of activities, which are outlined below. Biodiversity Hotspots' identification, Indicator species identification, Ecosystem functioning and integrity, Hydrology Review, Hydrological summary Framework and Interpretation and synthesis of results.
