The Okongo Community Forest is a gazetted forest commissioned in 1998 and located in the Ohangwena Region of Namibia. The Directorate of Forestry (DoF) under the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry implemented that Okongo Community Foresty Project from 1998 to 2006. Technical and financial support was provided by GTZ for the duration of the 8 years, while the Forest Management Committee continue with forest activities from there on.
