CONTACTAPP-0010334: Environmental Impact Assessment for the proposed mineral exploration / prospecting activities on Exclusive Prospecting Licence (EPL) 8742, Karibib, Erongo Region
Xinfeng Investment (Pty) Ltd (the proponent) proposes to undertake exploration activities on Exclusive Prospecting License (EPL 8742) for Nuclear fuel Minerals. The proposed exploration activities include desktop studies, geophysical surveys, geochemical survey, geological mapping, trenching, drilling and geochemical sampling as well as laboratory analysis aimed discovering mineral resources of economic interest. The project area is located in western central Namibia in Erongo Region, approximately 24 km by road south of the town of Karibib, in Erongo Region . The EPL extends over Farms : Etusis 75, Goas 79, Neikhoes 74, Habis 71, Neu Schwaben 148, Neu Schwaben 148 Portion No. 1, Okongogava-ost 72, Gamikaub 78, Nuwerus 147 Nuwerus 147 Portion No. 1 Nuwerus 147 Portion No. 2 Kubas 77 Nordenburg 76 Portion No. 1 Nordenburg 76 Portion No. 2 Nordenburg 76 Portion No. 4 Nordenburg 76 Portion No. 5 Dostrivier 15 Portion No. 1 Dostrivier 15 Portion No. 2 Dostrivier 15 Portion No. 3.
