Abstract:

Die namibische Polizei hat in der Omusati-Region einen 28-Jährigen festgenommen, der ein lebendiges Schuppentier mit sich führte. Laut dem Polizeibericht trug er ihn in einer gelben Plastiktüte und versuchte, ihn an einen Polizeibeamten zu verkaufen, der verdeckt unterwegs war. Der Verdächtige soll außerdem Geld im Wert von 3 102 N$ an sich gehabt haben, das er unrechtmäßig erworben haben soll. Er befindet sich in der Polizeistation von Ruacana und wird am Montag vor Gericht gestellt. Derweil enthält der Bericht auch Informationen über Vorfälle von Viehdiebstahl. Ein 31-Jähriger soll in Rehoboth ein Lamm im Wert von 1 800 N$ ohne Erlaubnis geschlachtet haben. Auf der Farm Gainachas im Tses-Distrikt sollen außerdem zwei Männer zwei Ziegen unberechtigt geschlachtet haben, die zusammen 2 400 N$ wert waren. 

The Namibian police arrested a 28-year-old man in the Omusati region who was carrying a live pangolin. According to the police report, he carried it in a yellow plastic bag and tried to sell it to a police officer who was undercover. The suspect is also believed to have had N $ 3,102 worth of money illegally acquired. He is in the Ruacana Police Station and will be tried on Monday. Meanwhile, the report also includes information on incidents of cattle theft. A 31-year-old is said to have slaughtered a lamb worth N $ 1,800 in Rehoboth without a permit. On the Gainachas farm in the Tses district, two men are said to have illegally slaughtered two goats that were worth N $ 2,400.
