Abstract:

The Okongo village Council intends to establish new township establishments to be known as Okongo extension 3 and 4. Land use and development activities and associated township development activities are part of activities listed under Schedule of activities the Environmental Management Act, No. 07 of 2007 and its Regulations (No.03 of February 2012) as activities that may not been undertaken without an Environmental Impact Assessment study being undertaken and Environmental Clearance Certificate being obtained.
