Abstract:

Scrap Salvage (Pty) Ltd existing scrap metals recycling and salvage operational activities entails listed activity 2.3 and activity 9.1 of the EMA regulations namely: Activity 2.3: The import, processing, use and recycling, temporary storage, transit or export of waste activities. Activity 9.1: The manufacturing, storage, handling or processing of a hazardous substance defined in the Hazardous Substances Ordinance, 1974. Scrap Salvage (Pty) Ltd makes use of the flame cutting process which falls under activity 9.1.
