Uno Investment cc, a Namibian company, intents to establish a charcoal processing plant in Arandis Town. Charcoal being a product that is demanded by the international market, Arandis town is identified to be strategically situated as it is close to Walvis Bay Harbour which the exit to such markets. Establishing the proposed charcoal processing plant triggers a number of activities that are listed under the EMA. Meaning an EIA should be conducted and an ECC obtained accordingly.
